Welcome to College for Kids!
College for Kids is a residential academic summer program for gifted students. It includes academic subjects that encourage creative, critical thinking skills, and at the same time, addresses the affective and physical needs of the gifted. College for Kids is housed on the campus of William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri.
Students live in air-conditioned residence halls that are divided into sections for every 10-14 students. Each hall has a Residential Advisor. Students have telephones available to make collect or credit card calls. Our office phone has voice mail. Snacks are available for purchase.
The Academic staff is committed to the importance of the "living away from home" aspect of this summer experience. All students are expected to live on campus, and remain on campus throughout the entire session. Any necessary absences (other than emergencies) must be explained in writing when you arrive on campus. Please state the reason for the absence, when your child will leave and return, and who is transporting them.
